Museum members and WashU students, faculty, and staff are invited to a special preview of Ai Weiwei: Bare Life and the expanded Museum, featuring music by DJ Nune and food and drink by BAO available for purchase.

Enjoy this first look at the exhibition and the reinstallation of the permanent collection before the Museum opens to the public on Saturday, September 28!

Registration has closed for this event, but we welcome WashU community members and Museum members who haven't registered. Please remember to bring your WashU ID or membership card if possible.

EVENT DETAILS

Present your WashU ID or Museum membership card at the check-in table for a quick and easy entry. Attendees who do not have their cards will be asked to check in. 

Due to capacity requirements inside one of the Ai Weiwei: Bare Life galleries, we will be implementing a timed-entry system for the exhibition. We recommend that you arrive early to be able to visit the entire exhibition.

Due to space restrictions and the overwhelming response to this event, we ask that only Museum members and WashU faculty, staff, and students attend this preview. Guests are welcome to attend the public opening on Saturday, September 28. Additionally, the exhibition runs through January 5, 2020.

Please note that Contributor-level memberships and above include two people. Both members are welcome to attend this preview.
