Join us for a dynamic look at the Museum’s world-class collection and special exhibitions. Trained student educators will guide you through highlights of the permanent collection, providing context and insights behind the artworks on display. 

Free and open to the public. Please arrive at least fifteen minutes before the start of the tour. Our tours can accommodate groups of twenty, but we encourage you to check-in at the Welcome Desk to secure your place.

Cell Phone Tour

The Museum's cell phone tour features artworks throughout Washington University's Danforth Campus that are part of the Art on Campus program. Each two–three minute audio recording gives information about the artist’s practice and provides art historical context for the artwork. Learn more >>

Community Group Tours

Non-profit community groups of at least ten people are invited to schedule educator-led tours of the collection galleries or special exhibitions during regular museum hours. Even if you are not requesting a guided tour, if you expect to visit with a group of ten or more people, we ask that you submit the form, so that we can better prepare for your visit.

Please note that the form below is for public, non-profit groups from the community. Separate tour request forms are available in the Education section of the website for K–12 educators and WashU faculty.

We ask that you submit your request at least three weeks in advance of your preferred date and that tours take place within the Museum's regular hours of 11 am–5 pm Wednesday–Saturday, 12–5 pm Sunday, and 11 am–8 pm on first and third Thursdays.
