线上中文美术导览:重建禅宗
邀请您来和艺术史暨考古学系博士生曲维洵共同探索本期Arthur Greenberg Undergraduate Curatorial Fellowship的展览《Killing the Buddha:Reconstructing Zen》。本期展览将聚焦于 从十七世纪到二战后的禅宗艺术演变。隨後我们领略完本期展览,紧接着会一同欣赏常设 展中日裔艺术家的作品。
Join student educator Weixun Qu, PhD student in the Department of Art History & Archaeology in Arts & Sciences, for an online tour of the Arthur Greenberg Undergraduate Curatorial Fellowship Exhibition, “Killing the Buddha”: Reconstructing Zen. The exhibition investigates the dynamic shifts in Zen and Zen-adjacent art from seventeenth-century Japan to the post-World War II period. A discussion of works in the permanent collection galleries by Japanese and Japanese American artists will follow the temporary exhibition tour.
