旅行,一直是大家津津乐道的一个话题。尤其是从去年疫情开始肆虐后,人们从而更加怀念旅途中的时光与乐趣。在本次导览中,艺术史暨考古学系博士生戴悦将与大家一同欣赏十九世纪东西方艺术家在旅途中创作出的精彩作品,包括日本艺术家歌川广重的浮世绘作品、美国风景画大师吉福德的油画作品以及美国版画彭内尔的蚀刻版画。三位风格迥异的画家,三种不同的艺术形式,让我们领略旅途风景在艺术家笔下的诸种可能。

In this Zoom tour, student educator Yue Dai, PhD student in the Department of Art History & Archaeology in Arts & Sciences, will share insights and images of artworks that connect to the theme of travel by ukiyo-e master Utagawa Hiroshige, Hudson River school painter Sanford Gifford, and American etcher Joseph Pennell.

This hour-long tour in Chinese is free, but registration is required (registration link to come).
