A panel of Washington University faculty will discuss an interdisciplinary range of historical and contemporary issues surrounding China’s women that have given rise to Wŏmen (我们): Contemporary Chinese Art. Participants will explore these connections between past and present, life and art, in individual comments, roundtable conversations, and dialogue with the audience. Panelists include:

• Lihong Shi, postdoctoral fellow, Department of Anthropology
• Priscilla Song, assistant professor of anthropology
• Kristina Kleutghen, assistant professor of art history; faculty advisor for
Wŏmen (我们): Contemporary Chinese Art
