Pierrot le Fou (1965, directed by Jean-Luc Godard) is a postmodern take of a life led on the run, featuring Pierrot (Jean-Paul Belmondo) as he flees from his bourgeois lifestyle and goes on a traveling crime spree from Paris to the Mediterranean Sea with Marianne (Anna Karina), who is being chased by Algerian gangsters.

Held in conjunction with the exhibition John Stezaker, the Fringe Figure Film Series features titles selected by the artist that are representative of themes relevant to his practice.
