Missouri Chamber Music Festival: The Art, the Music

Join us for a reception to kick off the 14th Missouri Chamber Music Festival. Preview the program for the finale concert, “Pierrot,” which will be held at the Kemper Art Museum on June 21 and which includes musical works with connections to artworks on view in the permanent collection. Preview “Huit-Clos,” a commissioned work by audiovisual artist Florent Ghys, receiving its world premiere on the 21st. The reception will include brief remarks from Sabine Eckmann, William T. Kemper Director and Chief Curator at the Mildred Lane Kemper Art Museum; Nina Ferrigno, artistic director of the Missouri Chamber Music Festival; and composer Florent Ghys.
