Women and the Kemper: Fashion of the Belle Époque

This spring Sam Fox School Fashion Design students will create original garments inspired by the exhibition Spectacle and Leisure in Paris: Degas to Mucha. At this special reception with the six students, participants will have the chance to view their portfolios as well as offer feedback. Live models will be wearing some of the students’ designs, and optional tours of the exhibition and the Fashion Design studios will be offered. Light refreshments provided.

6:15p  optional tour of Sam Fox School fashion studios, leaving from the South Foyer

A collaborative program of the Sam Fox School Fashion Design Program, Women and the Kemper, the Woman’s Club, and Women’s Society of Washington University. Women and the Kemper members are invited to bring a friend.
