The Museum regularly offers free public programs in the galleries including tours, walk-throughs, and talks that explore a variety of themes, artworks, and exhibitions. Visit our calendar for details about these and other upcoming events.

Accessing the Museum During Construction 2017–18

May 2017 marks the beginning of the transformation of the east end of Washington University's Danforth Campus. Construction began on May 22 and is affecting access to the Museum.

Private Group Tours

The Museum's private tours offer an open and informative ways to explore our special exhibition and permanent collection galleries for your group, organization, class, or family and friends. For more information or to schedule a free docent-led tour, contact Amy Miller at amy.miller@wustl.edu.

School Programs

The Museum's education department offers programs tailored for classes from Kindergarten through high school. These programs are developed with curricula designed to foster learning and interaction with special exhibitions or the permanent collection.

Cell Phone Tour

The Mildred Lane Kemper Art Museum cell phone tour features artworks in and around the Museum and throughout Washington University's Danforth Campus. Each 2-3 minute audio recording gives information about the artist’s practice and provides art historical context for the artwork. Learn more >>
