MUSEUM CLOSURE

The Museum is closed for the construction of a major expansion and will reopen in the fall of 2019. Find out more here

The Museum offers a range of learning opportunities for adults and families, from gallery talks and lectures to film screenings and workshops. We will continue to offer select off-site programs during the closure. Check the calendar for a complete list of upcoming events.

KARE Program

The Kemper Art Reaches Everyone (KARE) program is designed for adults with early to moderate Alzheimer’s and other dementias. In this one-hour, multisensory program, participants engage with four or five artworks.

The KARE program is free, and while the Museum is closed for construction educators can bring the program to you. For more information, contact Allison Taylor at allison.taylor@wustl.edu or 314.935.7918.

This program was developed in collaboration with Lynn Hamilton, president of Maturity and Its Muse, a not-for-profit with a mission to promote positive and productive aging through the arts.
