Chinese, Born 1948
After earning a bachelors degree at Fu Jen University and a master's degree in comparative literature from the University of Washington, Seattle, in 1974, Lo Ch'ing returned to Fu Jen University to teach English and Chinese literature. Since 1980, he has served as an English professor at the National Taiwan Normal University in China.
Ch'ing learned traditional Chinese painting as a child and continues to work in this medium alongside his writing and teaching career. He has also experimented with more traditionally Western styles of painting and often combines the two to create his own unique style. A Fulbright Scholar, Ching has lectured and exhibited his work throughout the United States, Asia, and Europe.
