University College Non-Credit Short Course, Spring 2007

Washington University’s University College offers a range of short noncredit courses and workshops on contemporary issues, business, literature, and music. During the Spring 2007 semester, the Kemper Art Museum will be offering a Non-Credit Short Course on the special exhibition "Reality Bites."

Course Description: The exhibition "Reality Bites: Making Avant-Garde Art in Post-Wall Germany," is on display at Washington University's Kemper Art Museum during the spring semester. Interacting with artists and curators, students will explore issues in contemporary German society through the themes of this major exhibition: 'Redressing Germany,' 'Global Spaces,' and 'Traumatic Histories.' Taught by Sabine Eckmann, Director and Chief Curator, Mildred Lane Kemper Art Museum. Offered Wednesdays, February 21, 28; March 7, 21; 6:00-8:00 p.m.

Noncredit Fee: $100. To register call 314.935.6759.
